Humanity Trek
In 1949, DC Comics partnered with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and created artwork to adorn brown paper covers for school textbooks. That artwork was in a PSA-style, saying bullying based on race, religion and national origin was un-American. In 2017, DC comics digitally restored the artwork by colorizing it and I updated by replacing the text of national origin with #women and #LGBT.
From the civil war to the civil rights era of the 1960’s, America has made progress around racism but to reach “a more perfect union” as described in the U.S. Constitution’s preamble, we have further yet to go. Today’s racism looks different that it did in the previous era. What does #equality look like to you? #blacklivesmatter #trueamerican
Make Americans Think Harder (#MATH) was the slogan during #yanggang campaign in the 2020 Presidential primaries. #yanggang is now #humanityforward. “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.” -Yoda. Let science and #MATH move #humanityforward into the light.
A lot can change in a few years. Humanity Forward has since folded and been resurrected as Common Sense California. Then, that has since separated and morphed into Forward Party California. Every state is different and as a leader in the country, they’re focused on fix(ing) the system, serve(ing) the people and build(ing) the future.
