We’re all on the road of life. I hope you’re traveling on it with a great, big tribe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is my personal website. So you can get to know me, I’m a native Angelino (born and raised in Los Angeles, for you non-Californians). I grew up in the city of Arcadia within LA county. It’s one of two districts in the entirety of the contiguous United States with a majority Asian population (kudos for you if you already knew which state has a majority Asian population at 58%). It resides in a the enclave on the east side of Los Angeles county called the San Gabriel Valley (SGV). Living here, I’ve had the unique perspective of being raised in the “Joy Luck Club” experience of being of two suns, the East and the West. On top of being a person of color (POC), I also get the joy of a third experience of being gay and use he\/him\/his pronouns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I suppose you could say I have three “suns” that I’ve never really felt completely a part of. The first being, Hong Kong, where my parents are from, then the United States where I was born and lastly, the LGBTQ community, an unwitting chosen family. it’s been an interesting journey diving into all the parts of me, whether that’s all-things Asian-American, LGBTQ but also the nerdy parts of me that’s into the details and consequently, IT business systems, technology & science fiction (sci-fi). A nerdy Asian, who’d a thunk?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite proudly being different in so many ways, I’m a connected, passionate, loving leader. As the slogan on this website alludes to, I care for my fellow homo sapiens. My hope for the optimistic sci-fi future of tomorrow to exist today (Star Trek and not Mad Max) means that I spend my spare time being an activist (growing my tribe of do-gooders), creating the future we wish to see. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
